The Dave Matthews Band’s saxophonist LeRoi Moore has passed away.
He was 46 years young.
The musician was injured in an ATV accident in June, resulting in a punctured lung and broken ribs.
Moore went back into the hospital last month due to complications. He passed away Tuesday in Los Angeles after more complications.
Our condolences to LeRoi’s family and bandmates.

LeRoi Moore, the saxophone player for the Dave Matthews Band, passed away earlier today. He was 46.
Moore was severely injured in an ATV accident June 30 outside Charlottesville, Virginia. He suffered a punctured lung and broken ribss at the time. The musician was rushed back to the hospital last month due to complications.
A representative for the Dave Matthews Band released the following statement following Moore’s death:
“LeRoi Moore, saxophonist and founding member of Dave Matthews Band, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, August 19, 2008, at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles from sudden complications stemming from his June ATV accident on his farm near Charlottesville, Virginia.
Moore had recently returned to his Los Angeles home to begin an intensive physical rehabilitation program.”

Should we blame the Olympics for The Hills‘ dip in ratings?
When season 3 of the MTV show premiered it was up 40% from season 2’s premiere.
But, according to the Hollywood Reporter, there was no such growth for the season 4 premiere on Monday night.
In fact, it was down 9% in its key 12-to-34 demo (2.1 million) and down 5% among total viewers (3.5 million) when compared to its one-hour debut last year.
Do you think the coming weeks without the Olympics might will provide a better test?

A country artist openly proclaiming that he’s a Democrat and supporting Barack Obama!
Unheard of!!!
Toby Keith is currently promoting his new movie, Beer For My Horses, and was asked about his position in the upcoming elections.
Keith responded with, “There’s a big part of America that really believes that there is a war on terrorism, and that we need to finish up.”
He added, “So I thought it was beautiful the other day when Obama went to Afghanistan and got educated about Afghanistan and Iraq. He came back and said some really nice things.”
And there’s more.
Keith continues, “So as far as leadership and patriotism goes, I think it’s really important that those things have to take place. And I think he’s the best Democratic candidate we’ve had since Bill Clinton. And that’s coming from a Democrat.”
And there you have it.
Let’s hope this doesn’t hurt his career!

Ellen is speaking out about her wedding!
In a message just released, the newly married talk show host says:
“I had a big, big weekend. I got married to Portia de Rossi! Sorry, John Stamos…this one’s taken.
You may notice something different about the way I’m writing…it’s fancy. This is the font I type in now that I’m MARRIED! I do a lot of things differently now …I say, “I do” a lot. For example: Who wants to do pilates? I do. Would you like a Mountain Dew? I do. Do you know why I pulled you over? I do. And that was just this morning.
The wedding was everything we hoped it would be. I wish I could’ve invited all of you. But I have some pictures and video I can show you when Season 6 starts on September 8th. I can’t wait to see them too…it was all a blur. See you then.

Rumors have been circulating for some while now of trouble over at the Playboy Mansion.
As recently as last week reports stated that trouble was brewing with Hugh Hefner’s three main girlfriends over the introduction of a brunette Ukranian model named Dasha Astafieva.
Apparently Hef has been spending plenty of time with Dasha and it’s threatening the girls.
But even more interesting are the rumors that Holly and Bridgette want Kendra Wilkinson out.
Though, in a calculated PR move, the ladies quickly took to their official website pages to deny rumors that Kendra was being kicked out.
However, In Touch Weeklyis now reporting some interesting news.
Looks like Kendra might be moving out after taping the fifth season, and most likely the show’s last season, of the Girls Next Door.
An insider tells the mag, “Kendra Wilkinson has been offered her own reality show about starting her life over again when she moves out of the Playboy Mansion. Hugh Hefner knows her time is coming.”
Poor Holly and Bridgette. What are they going to do if Hef ever dumps them?
