She got a taste of the solo spotlight again recently, and she realized how much she missed it!

Paula Abdul is not content to just release a song on American Idol judge Randy Jackson’s upcoming compilation.

She wants more!

The Straight Up singer, who hasn’t released an album in over a ten years, has announced on her official website that she’s working on a new CD.

“New Paula Abdul album coming summer 2008,” the site promises.

If she does it right, it has the potential to not suck.

We’re looking forward to it!

Entertainment Weekly has a poll on their website, asking readers to pick what artist they are most looking forward to seeing at the Grammys next weekend.

The results are quite surprising!

The Hollywood community is still very upset at Entertainment Tonight and The Insider.

A behind-the-scenes campaign happened aggressively on Wednesday to pressure the shows not to broadcast that Heath Ledger video everyone was talking about.

Several top publicity companies threatened to never give the shows access to their star clients again. They caved.

However, we’re told that many are still upset because ET and The Insider made it seem like Heath was doing drugs in the video.

He was not, a person who has seen the full clip tells us.

Additionally, when the shows aired a preview of the video, they showed a clip of Ledger saying, “I used to smoke five joints a day for 20 years.”

However, what they didn’t show you was that afterwards, he said , “and that’s why I got this tattoo [an M, for daughter Matilda] to remind me never to smoke weed again.”

Justin Chambers checked in to the UCLA psych ward this week.

The Grey’s Anatomy hottie checked right back out of Britney’s temporary home on Wednesday.

The actor’s publicist says he went in voluntarily because he is “exhausted and suffers from a sleeping disorder.”

Chambers is the father of five.
